Born December 1960 in Melpignano (Lecce - ITALY) he followed at the same time musical and humanistic studies.
Philosophy Degree (1985) at University of Lecce he was teacher both in a secondary school (from 1979 to 1986) and in several Conservatories of Music (Pescara, Monopoli, Bari). In the same years he carried out intensive journalism activities.
Ordinary teacher of Music History at the Didactic School of Conservatory of Music “N. Piccini” (Bari) until academic year 2001-2002.
From 2002 to 2005 he was researcher at Faculty of Educational Sciences (University of Lecce) where he was substitute teacher of Docimology and Informatics for educational processes.
From May 2005 he is Associated Professor in Experimental Pedagogy. His research activities are focused on interactive environments of learning, socio-constructivism paradigm, educational relationships, methodologies for a pedagogical ontology. He leaded a relevant study on WebQuest with the aim of building a community of practice able to involve teachers interested into this methodology based on constructivist and cooperative learning hypothesis.
Actually he teaches Design and Evaluation of Formative Intervention both in degree courses (field 18) and in the specialist degree course of Educational Sciences. As substitute teacher, from many years, he hold teaching in Animation Theatre. During these years he hold courses of: Methods and Techniques of Learning at Distance, Pedagogy of Media, Theories and Techniques of Teamwork, Design and Organization of Territorial Services, Theories of Pedagogic Models. From 1991 he’s member of National Order of Journalism as publicist giving impulse and leading several local headlines like “Noema” and “Titivillus”.
Actually he leads a bimestrial review “Grecìa ta-neama”, for preservation and valorization of “Grika” culture.
He’s strengthen assertor of the necessity that the intellectual appointment has to be translated in operational concreteness, he has favoured the birth of numerous cultural initiatives.
He has published relevant essays and papers in prestigious national reviews like: “Nuova Rivista Musicale Italiana” edited by RAI, “Riforma della Scuola”, boast in the past of Editori Riuniti, “Res” for Elemond, “Segni e comprensione”, “Studi sulla formazione”. Some of his works are translated in different countries.
He’s also author of books for the following editors:

His last works are: Progettazione e valutazione dell’intervento formativo, Insegnare e apprendere in rete, Prospettive musicali e Estasi brevi, futuristi di Puglia: Casavola, Luciani and other works are edited by Amaltea .
His contributions are available in collective works edited by EdT (Turin), Electa, Adda, Franco Angeli, ERI-Rai.
His intensive activities of writing has made possible to move himself in several areas of writing going from musicology to aesthetic, pedagogical and didactic fields.

He is also apposed with creative writing publishing a short romance (La dolcezza dei seppelliti), a book of novels (Pause), some adaptments for theatre (Teatro a Malandrino), a booklet for a theatre-music show (Sotto i colpi del sole di ferro), and a storyboard for a theatre action (Serata futurista).
During the period 2003-2005 he was member of the Technical-Scientific Committee of IRRE Puglia.
From may 2005 he’s Associated Professor of Experimental Pedagogy at the Faculty of Educational Sciences (University of Lecce).
For the academic year 2003-2004 he was Contracted Professor at University of Valle d’Aosta where he teach Psycho-Pedagogy of Individual Differences and Analysis of Educational System.
He was also teacher of Methods and Techniques of Cooperative learning for a post-graduate course “Expert of psychological intervention at school” (University of Lecce).
He has coordinated a Perfection Course “E-learning Mediators” (2003-2004) in which he hold didactic activities too.
He collaborated with Provincia of Lecce where it was member of a research equipe for Evaluation in EQUAL DMT (Women, Media, Technology) and moreover for the Slalom Project focused on mainstreaming theme.
Actually he’s responsible of webquest.it and apprendereonline.it websotes. He’s project leader of the electronic platform Didatticaonline.com.
He’s also counsellor and teacher for several Learning Societies.
In 2006-2007 he was involved in the Directive Committee of Post-degree Course “New Media and Learning” (University of Foggia and University of Salento). In this course he has leaded the module of “Design contents for digital Media” and he hold teachings of “Design of interfaces man-machine for learning”, “Creative writing for New Media”, Laboratory of Design of multimedia environments and e-learning platforms.
In the same year he was teacher for the Post-degree Course “Management of artistic-cultural system” organized by Conservatory of Music “Tito Schipa “ (Lecce).
He participated into two PRIN projects “Stage, didactic laboratory and technologies of training at distance” (2003) and “Building an ontology learning objects and communities of practice in multicultural and multilanguage contexts for specific thematic areas (simulation, educational Design and communication)” (2005).
Form 2006 he’s director of Ulpia Center for research and distribution of services in the field of e-learning (Department of Pedagogical, Psychological, Educational Sciences – University of Salento).
He’s also founder member of the Scientific Society Directive SIREM (Società Italiana di Ricerca di Educazione Mediale) born in 2007. He’s sits in the Directive of SIRD (Società Italiana di Ricerca Didattica). He’s member of Si-el (Società italiana di e-learning).
